New Bond Girl : Berenice Marloe


French beauty Berenice Marlohe is the new Bond Girl, she landed the coveted part opposite Daniel Craig in the upcoming 'Bond 23'.
Marlohe is a French actress making the transition from television to the big-screen. She is currently shooting a movie directed by James Huth, called 'Un Bonheur N'arrive Jamais Seul', (Happiness Never Arrives Alone).
It was rumoured that Brazilian model Ana Araujo the girlfriend of rocker Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones was close to securing the part, competing with Naomie Harris for the coveted role. But after all the french Bombshell Marlohe came out winning the part!
Director Sam Mendes reportedly will shoot the opening scenes in Turkey. The upcoming Bond flick will be the third one to be shot in Istanbul after 'From Russia with Love' and 'The World Is Not Enough'.
"The opening scenes are planned to be filmed in Istanbul, but some other places will also be used outside Istanbul for the film. The site that will be used for the production include Sultanahmet Square, a historical neighborhood in the city," said Ertugrul Gunay, Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister.
"James Bond is no stranger to Istanbul, and as the seriesmarks its 50th anniversary next year, it is fitting that 007would return to one of the most loved locations in the history of the franchise. It really just feels like we are coming home," said Wilson, one of the producers.
